Returns & Exchanges
At Check My Hearing LTD, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with our services and products. Below is our policy for returns, exchanges, and service adjustments.
1. Services (Hearing Tests, Ear Wax Removal, Fittings)
- No refunds for completed services: Due to the personalized, time-sensitive nature of our care (e.g., a hearing test cannot be “returned”), we do not offer refunds after service completion.
- Dissatisfaction resolution: If you are unhappy with a service, contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We will arrange a free follow-up (in-clinic or at-home) to address your concerns.
2. Hearing Aids & Products
- 30-day return window: Unused, uncustomized hearing aids and accessories (e.g., batteries, cleaning kits) may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange, provided:
- They are in original packaging, unused, and undamaged.
- Custom ear molds or tailored fittings (modified to your ear canal) are non-returnable.
- Return process:
- Email us at CHECKMYHEARINGLTD@outlook.com to request a Return Authorization (RA) number.
- Ship the item(s) to our clinic (11 Freeport Office Village, Braintree, CM77 8YG) with the RA number clearly marked.
- We process refunds within 5-7 business days of receiving the item (via your original payment method).
- Defective products: Covered by manufacturer warranties (typically 1-3 years). We will repair or replace defective items per warranty terms at no cost.
3. Appointment Cancellations
- 24-hour notice required: To avoid a fee, cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance (via phone: +44 7413 044569 or email).
- Late cancellations/no-shows: A £30 fee will be charged if less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or if you fail to attend.
