Terms and Conditions

By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Scope

  • Check My Hearing LTD provides: (i) hearing tests, (ii) ear wax removal (microsuction), (iii) hearing aid fittings, and (iv) related products (e.g., batteries).
  • Services are delivered by qualified professionals. We reserve the right to decline service if deemed medically unsafe (e.g., severe ear infection), in which case we will refer you to a GP.

2. Appointments

  • Confirmation: Appointments are confirmed via email/phone. Please review details (date, time, location) promptly.
  • Punctuality: For clinic visits, arrive 5 minutes early to complete paperwork. Late arrivals (>15 minutes) may result in shortened appointments.
  • Home visits: We will contact you 30 minutes before arrival. Ensure a safe, well-lit space for service delivery. Additional travel fees apply for locations >20 miles from Braintree (£1 per mile).

3. Payments

  • Fees: All service/product prices are listed on our website and confirmed at booking. Prices are subject to change, but quoted prices are honored for confirmed appointments.
  • Payment methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and bank transfers. Payment is due at the time of service (or before for home visits).
  • Unpaid balances: Outstanding fees may result in suspended future services until resolved.

4. Liability

  • We act with reasonable care, but cannot guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., hearing improvement).
  • We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g., missed work) arising from service delays or outcomes, except where required by law.
  • Clients must disclose relevant health conditions (e.g., diabetes, ear surgery) to avoid complications. Failure to do so may limit our liability for adverse effects.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Our website content, logos, and service materials are owned by Check My Hearing LTD. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Changes apply to new bookings made after the update date (posted on our website).
